The Eastern Parishes have taken a narrow lead over the Western Parishes after a highly tactical second day of action at the Carlsberg Ocean View Cup. Following an opening-day stalemate that left the sides deadlocked, the tournament shifted to the challenging alternate shot format. The East rose to the occasion in the final match of the day to edge ahead six and a half to five and a half in the overall standings. It was the West, however, who made the brighter start to the afternoon. They seized early momentum when the powerhouse duo of Camiko Smith and Dennis Joell produced a clinical display to defeat the East's Damon Smith and Vincent Minors. The Western Parishes quickly doubled their advantage on the day.
