Pastor Dr. Maria Seaman said Bermuda’s leadership is facing a moral decline and argued that those in office carry both authority and accountability. She said the island’s financial prosperity is not clearly benefiting citizens, which she described as a sign that money management is not godly. Seaman said she hopes both the current Premier and Bermuda’s next leader will govern with honesty, integrity and reverence for God. She also said she remains hopeful for Bermuda despite her concerns about materialism and the loss of spiritual values.
