Thomas McBain remained Bermuda’s leading sailor after day two of the 2026 Optimist World Championship in Tanger Bay, sitting 32nd overall with 59 points. The Bermudian fleet raced three times in stronger Atlantic breezes after a weather-hit opening day in Morocco. Rex Henagulph made Bermuda’s biggest move of the day, finishing 23rd in the final race and rising to 147th overall. Miguel Leite is 160th, Jesse Savage 195th, and Heath Meyers 197th as fleet racing continues before team racing later in the week.
