The Government has formally established an Electoral Reform Working Group to review electoral reform proposals before legislative drafting is finalised. The group follows public engagement, stakeholder discussions, youth sessions, written submissions, feedback from overseas Bermudians, candidate surveys and operational reviews. Senator Lauren Bell JP will chair the group, with McKenzie Tuckett serving as deputy chair and members including Parliamentary Registrar Tenia K. Woolridge and Michael Anthony Charles Smith. Its work will examine areas including voter access and registration, election day processes and administration, and campaign and election finance.
