Southampton Rangers blitzed their way into a bold new era, seizing the T20 Premier Division crown in style and obliterating already-relegated PHC by a staggering 128 runs. Hearkening memories of previous dynastic runs of the mid-2000s and mid-2010s, the South Shore institution, despite being just a season removed from the First Division, manufactured a perfect 5-0 record as its stamp of authority. Club president Darren Burchall, largely regarded as the author of the current edition of champions, noted his pleasure at the team’s success. “I’m quite ecstatic,” said Burchall. “Three years ago, when I was coach, my first meeting with the players was to say that in three years’ time we would indeed be Premier Division champions, even though we were not going to win any trophies during my first year.
