The Ministry of Public Works & Environment is advising the public that road realignment works associated with the Swing Bridge Replacement Project are scheduled to begin in the next few weeks, with initial works expected to continue through the early phases of the bridge construction programme. This phase of the project will introduce a series of temporary and evolving changes to traffic flow, access routes, and public transport arrangements in the St. George’s and St. David’s area. These works are a necessary step in preparing for the replacement of the Swing Bridge and are intended to support safer, more efficient connectivity in the long term.
